A Winchester 1897, built in the 1910's, obviously it's a well-used shotgun, 12 gauge with a 30' barrel. Just a "standard" shotgun with a decade of history.

This shotgun was in a large box, completely dissembled. All of the parts were scattered in the box among other different firearm parts. It took several hours to sort out the parts for the shotgun, approximately 80 parts for this shotgun was located in the box. After accounting for the shotgun parts, all of them needed to be cleaned, restored, and assembled. The parts were in good condition, they were covered in oil, grease, and the rust was cleaned off to bring out the beautiful browning finish. This shotgun is still safe to fire using 12 gauge shot, and it still can be used for hunting. It will last another century if it is taken care of by the owner.
